SLA is proud of the numerous benefits it offers to its employees. This summary of benefits below is intended only as a general description of the current benefits. Detailed descriptions of each of the following are available from the Company. There may be an occasion when benefits change due to circumstances such as changing policy, economic trends, fiscal needs, or social values. We will inform you promptly if and when changes occur.
Health Insurance: The company contributes to the coverage. Dependent coverage is available and paid for by the employee. The Company has adopted a "Section 125" or Premium Conversion Plan which allows the employee to pay for their portion of health insurance premiums with pre-tax dollars.
Dental, Vision, Life and Long Term Disability Insurance Coverage: Paid for by the Company.
Comprehensive General Liability: Generally covers damages to the Company and employees which may result during the performance of work.
Professional Liability: This policy insures the Company against liability which may result from negligent omissions or errors in professional judgement or as a result of drawings and narrative information prepared by this firm.
Discretionary Time: All employees shall have annual Discretionary time available to them earned on a prorata basis monthly. The minimum number of days is 10.
Paid Holidays: There are 8 paid holiday days off recognized by SLA
Studio Land Profit and Trust: In 1990 the Principals established a 401K Profit Sharing Plan. This plan, the "Studio Land Profit & Trust” provides tax deferred savings, profit sharing and employer matching benefits to the employees. The plan provides an Employer match determined on an annual basis to every dollar an employee puts into the plan up to regulatory limits. When given, bonus compensation is in addition to 401K and/or Profit Sharing components of the Studio Land Profit & Trust.
